From a side practice to a career clinic
RésuméKlinik did not begin as a business plan. It began as one graduate helping others get seen, and grew alongside a career spent inside HR and consulting.
It starts with a simple problem
Shortly after university, Mayowa began helping fellow graduates and early-career professionals present themselves to employers: CVs, applications and how to describe experience so it counts. The practice was called Oh Concepts, and it had one aim: help capable people show their value in the labour market.
Learning how hiring really works
Mayowa's own career moved into human resources, through workforce administration, recruitment, HR business partnering, compensation and payroll inside global FMCG multinationals. Seeing shortlists made from the inside revealed the gap the business would come to focus on: the difference between having experience and being able to demonstrate why it makes you valuable to a specific employer.
Oh Concepts becomes RésuméKlinik
The name changed because the idea had changed. A CV is rarely the whole problem; it is the symptom of a positioning problem. So RésuméKlinik was built as a clinic: diagnose where someone is, where they are going and what is stopping the market from seeing their value, then prescribe. Your career, diagnosed. Transformed.
Sharper method, stronger foundation
An MBA in Human Resource Management, alongside more senior HR work, deepened the method. RésuméKlinik now understood both sides of the employment transaction: how candidates present themselves, and what employers are actually looking for.
From rewriting CVs to diagnosing careers
Moving into HR consulting, then management consulting at a global advisory firm, brought structured problem solving, client advisory and the habit of starting from evidence. The service grew from CV writing into career positioning: LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, executive narratives and career strategy, each built from the same diagnosis.
From positioning to matching
Positioning solves one part of Nigeria's employment problem. The other is matching: graduates who do not know which path fits them, employers who cannot find the skills they need, and talent that cannot communicate what it has. Talents Klinik was created to close that gap, combining personality and skills assessment, learning plans and employer matching in one platform.
A career clinic, headquartered in Lagos
More than 500 CVs transformed for professionals across Africa and the diaspora, in banking, consulting, technology, energy, the public sector and international organisations. RésuméKlinik now covers CV writing, LinkedIn optimisation, executive branding, cover letters and career consultancy, with Talents Klinik in early access.
